Exponential Business Growth Often Starts With Small Steps

Recently, I decided to do a few things in my business that would position it for exponential growth. To that end, I focused on three business areas: operations, finance, and marketing.

Many consultants and advisers tell entrepreneurs that to succeed, they just have to market, market, market. As a marketing veteran, I am the first to say that marketing must be at the heart of any successful business. However, experience has also shown me that exponential growth is dependent upon strong operations and solid finances.

Here's what I did first as I restructured my business:

  • Operations - Established a legal business entity with the name Strategy Source, Inc.
  • Finance - Opened a business checking account for Strategy Source, Inc.
  • Marketing - Set up this blog as the cornerstone of my online communications and marketing efforts.

These steps may seem small but there is real power in each of them.
