Online-StopwatchProductivity is critical to business success.  However,  I want to succeed without putting in more and more time.  Sound familiar?

I admit I’ve read and tried just about everything ever suggested by the time, energy and productivity gurus.

However, through trial and testing, I have found that I work at my peak for increments of 50 minutes.  After that I take a break and do something completely different – usually take Snowflake “the Maltese Princess” for a walk.  She has become quite accustomed to her hourly walks.

To stay focused and productive, I chunk my workday into 50-10 minute segments.   But I can only do this if I use a tool to keep me focused.  To implement this 50-10 time-chunking, I rely on a countdown timer.  I have used physical timers but find that an on-line version is  “more in the face” and works better for me.

I use one I downloaded at http://online-stopwatch.com.  It is simple, easy to use and free.

So, if you are having trouble focusing or being productive, try time-chunking using a countdown timer.
