This holiday is like a punctuation mark for the end of summer. School starts, fall is just around the corner, hurricane season is in full swing here on the Gulf Coast and the big holiday season is about to begin.

While the day is on the first Monday of September, most Americans celebrate the entire weekend. My husband and I are off for the last weekend trip before I launch into a weekly series of Strategy Talks for ExpertPreneurs and Interviews with Experts.

So have a fun-filled holiday, eat lots of barbecue, spend time with family and friends, and most important, enjoy the fruits of your labor - as that is what the holiday is all about.
