A few months ago, I decided to begin a process I have dubbed project reconnect. This is an effort for me to reconnect with lost colleagues and friends. I am using Facebook and Twitter to find the lost ones and to make new ones.

The most interesting thing that has happened so far is that many of my former colleagues, contacts and friends have begun to show up almost daily. It is interesting to hear what is happened since last contact - new businesses, new jobs, new spouses, new homes, and so much more.

In addition to the online connections, I am also connecting by phone just to chat. Now, that has been interesting…
